Description
CSPNJ is hiring a full-time Support Worker to provide direct support, skill development, advocacy, and community resource linkages to residents with psychiatric and/or substance use disabilities. The role is primarily field-based, meeting residents on their service plans, assessing needs, completing progress notes, and supporting independent living. It requires a mental health-related bachelor’s degree or a high school diploma with at least three years of related work or lived experience, a valid New Jersey driver’s license, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to work with trauma-informed approaches. Benefits include medical, free dental, free vision, six weeks of paid time off, and eleven holidays; the hourly rate is $19.23 to $21.63 based on education and experience.
