Description
CSPNJ is hiring a full-time Support Worker to provide direct support, skill development, advocacy, and community resource linkages to residents with psychiatric and/or substance use disabilities. The role is primarily field-based, meeting residents on their service plans, assessing needs, completing progress notes, and building sustainable community support networks. Candidates should have a mental health-related bachelor’s degree or a high school diploma with at least three years of related work or lived experience, a valid New Jersey driver’s license, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to support individuals with mental health diagnoses in a trauma-informed manner. The position offers medical, free dental, and free vision benefits, six weeks of paid time off, eleven holidays, and an hourly rate of $19.23 to $21.63.
