Gävle Municipality is hiring eight Support Workers, Support Assistants, and Support Educators for Housing and Support, Welfare Gävle. The role supports people with physical, mental, or intellectual disabilities in everyday living, personal care, hygiene, leisure, communication, and social or government-agency activities, while documenting development and needs. Work may involve day, evening, night, and weekend shifts in group homes, with a permanent start date of 2027-01-31. Applicants need relevant nursing, child and recreation, or support-assistant qualifications or at least one year of LSS experience, Swedish and computer skills, a category B driving licence, and driving experience; medication delegation, structured teaching, AAC, low-arousal approaches, digital tools, and challenging-behaviour experience are advantageous.
