Description
Bosch is hiring a Surface Treatment Engineer to develop and industrialize surface treatment technologies for automotive e-mobility, including laser cleaning, laser finishing, plasma treatment, laser deflash, and wet chemical cleaning. The role manages quality, cost, and delivery targets; designs and evaluates experiments; uses statistical analysis, data mining, and AI-supported methods; collaborates with cross-functional engineering, product development, and manufacturing teams; supports supplier communications and series-production problem solving; and documents experimental results. A master’s degree in engineering or natural sciences and English communication skills are required, while experience in surface treatment, characterization, assembly and interconnection technologies, design of experiments, or statistical evaluation is advantageous.
