Downer is hiring Surfacing Workers in Dunedin to prepare, lay, and finish asphalt pavements for maintenance patches, subdivision access ways, and state highway carriageway resurfacing. The role involves general asphalt surfacing, labour and machine operations, and operating equipment such as trucks, pavers, skidsteers, rollers, and small tools. Applicants need a minimum Class 1 full New Zealand driver licence, physical fitness, flexibility for nights, weekends, and travel across Otago, Central Lakes, and Southland, and previous asphalt experience is preferred.
