MSF USA (Doctors Without Borders) is seeking surgeons for international humanitarian assignments in which the surgeon prepares and performs emergency and sometimes elective surgeries, including cesarean sections, manages operating room staff and resources, and monitors quality of care, hygiene, and patient follow-up. The role requires an active medical license, post-residency surgical experience, recent clinical practice, prior low-resource or humanitarian experience, the ability to work autonomously in diverse teams with limited resources, and readiness for 8 to 12 week assignments in challenging field settings.
