Description
The Surgical Scheduler schedules orthopedic surgeries and related pre- and post-operative appointments, coordinates interdepartmental communication, maintains EMR and practice-management records, and communicates clinical and surgical instructions to patients. The role requires at least one year of medical office scheduling or 1–2 years of administration, clinical, or CNA/MA/EMT experience, preferably in an orthopedic setting, along with strong organization, attention to detail, and professional communication skills. Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance authorization, and EMR systems is preferable, and a high school diploma or GED is preferred.
