Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is hiring a Surgery Scheduler to coordinate hospital-based urology procedures across multiple East-region offices. The role schedules surgeries according to physician orders, block time, and insurance requirements; obtains pre-certifications and authorizations; coordinates pre-operative testing, clearances, consents, and surgery packets; documents authorization and clinical information in EPIC; reconciles charges; communicates instructions and regulatory or payer changes; and collaborates with physicians, clinical staff, hospital teams, and insurers. Three years of healthcare-setting experience, medical and insurance terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding, computer skills, and strong organization and attention to detail are required. Reliable transportation is needed.
