Description
The Surgery Scheduling Manager will manage and coordinate clinical and surgical encounters for eye-care patients, including clinic appointments, referrals, authorizations, pre-surgical requirements, surgical-block scheduling, provider schedules, waitlists, preoperative testing, medical clearances, equipment coordination, insurance verification, prior authorizations, and patient communication. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of surgical scheduling experience, and knowledge of EHR/EMR software, medical terminology, and insurance verification workflows.
