Description
The Surgical Assistant supports oral surgeons in a fast-paced dental office by assisting during surgical procedures, preparing instruments and equipment, monitoring vital signs, providing postoperative care and patient education, documenting encounters, maintaining controlled-substance safety, and supporting a clean and safe clinical environment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Basic Life Support certification, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently; previous clinical or dental experience is preferred but not required, and training is available.
