Description
The Surgical Assistant supports oral surgeons in a fast-paced dental office by preparing instruments and equipment, assisting during procedures, monitoring vital signs, supporting postoperative care, documenting encounters, maintaining a clean and safe operatory, and communicating professionally with patients and staff. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, previous clinical experience, and Basic Life Support certification; some college and oral surgery or dental assistant experience are preferred, and training is provided for qualified candidates. The schedule includes various Monday–Friday hours, with no evenings or weekends, and may involve occasional overtime and travel.
