TriHealth is hiring a PRN Surgical Assistant in Hamilton, Ohio, to work under the direction of an attending surgeon in pre-operative, operative, and post-operative procedures. Responsibilities include positioning, prepping, and draping patients; assisting with tissue handling, exposure, instrument use, hemostasis, and suturing; and participating in setup, cleanup, and room turnover. The role requires graduation from an approved technical, professional, or vocational program, BLS certification, and professional surgical certification within 12 months of employment, along with knowledge of anatomy and physiology and excellent hand-eye coordination. PRN positions are not eligible for TriHealth benefits.
