Description
The Surgical Assistant assists oral surgeons during procedures, prepares instruments and equipment, monitors patient vital signs, documents encounters, supports postoperative care, and maintains clinical safety and compliance. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Basic Life Support certification, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced dental office; previous dental or oral surgery assistant experience is preferred but not required.
