Description
The Surgical Assistant supports oral surgeons during procedures and maintains a safe, efficient, and professional clinical environment. Responsibilities include preparing instruments and equipment, monitoring vital signs, assisting with postoperative care, documenting encounters, communicating with patients and staff, and supporting emergency preparedness and equipment checks. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, previous clinical experience, and Basic Life Support certification; some college and oral surgery or dental assistant experience are preferred, and training is provided for qualified candidates.
