Description
The Surgical Assistant provides direct support to surgeons during surgical procedures under direct observation, including sterile preparation, instrument and sponge counts, patient positioning, wound care, and assistance with suturing and other operative tasks. The role is entry-level, requires a high school diploma and completion of a Surgical Assistant Program, and offers 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts. Full-time candidates may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus subject to rules and restrictions, with pay ranging from $35.82 to $55.52.
