Surgical Scrub Person at Nebraska Methodist Health System

This is a casual/PRN position for an Allied Health Professional working as a part of the team delivering surgical care by assisting physicians and maintaining a sterile field during surgical procedures through consistent application of aseptic techniques. Responsibilities include preoperative preparation, functioning as a scrub person during operative procedures, applying base knowledge and principles of intraoperative surgical care, following established policies and procedures, demonstrating collegiality and leadership qualities, providing appropriate patient care, participating in performance improvement activities, demonstrating proper use and care of instruments and equipment, adapting to various surgical procedures, and maintaining professional conduct.
