Description
The Surgical Services Supervisor leads daily operating and administrative functions in an ambulatory surgery center, overseeing operating-room and sterile-processing personnel, surgical and staff schedules, resources, patient care, quality improvement, and collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia personnel, and nursing and non-nursing leaders. The role supports surgical policies and procedures, participates in system-wide problem solving, and reports to the RN Manager of the Ambulatory Surgery Center. Preferred qualifications include current registered nurse licensure, a BSN, three years of supervisory experience in an ambulatory surgery center or acute-care operating room, ACLS certification within six months of hire, BCLS certification, and computer knowledge.
