Description
The Surgical Technologist performs technical functions assisting patient care in the operating room and other hospital areas, primarily working in the scrub role during surgical procedures. Responsibilities include preparing and turning over rooms, providing sterile supplies and instrumentation, assisting with patient positioning and specimen handling, supporting complex cases, orienting new team members, and driving PI projects to completion. The role requires high school completion or a GED, surgical technology certification, current CPR/AHA BLS, and national surgical technologist certification; no prior job-related work experience is required.
