Description
The Surgical Technologist performs technical functions in the operating room and other hospital areas, primarily scrubbing during surgical procedures and ensuring sterile supplies, instrumentation, and equipment are available. The role supports surgeons, registered nurses, anesthesia staff, and other healthcare professionals; assists with room turnover and procedure preparation; orients and trains new team members; participates in complex cases; and drives PI projects to completion. The position requires high school completion or a GED, surgical technology certification, current CPR/AHA BLS, and certification through the Liaison Council on Certification for the Surgical Technologist, CAAHEP, or NCCT.
