Description
The Surgical Technologist prepares sterile fields, sets up instruments, assists surgeons with gowning and gloving and patient draping, passes instruments and supplies, holds retractors, and supports equipment maintenance and testing. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, military training as a Scrub Tech, BLS certification, and eligibility for an incentive through Surgical Technician Certification. It is a full-time, regular, non-exempt position with varied shifts, Monday through Friday, as needed weekends, and a weekly schedule of 40 hours.
