Description
The Surgical Technologist assists healthcare providers in the operating room and other hospital areas by performing scrub duties, maintaining sterile supplies and equipment, and supporting surgeons, registered nurses, and anesthesia staff. The role also includes orienting new team members, participating in complex cases, and driving PI projects to completion. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with current CPR certification; surgical technologist certification through CAAHEP and CST or NCCT is required or preferred, and 1–3 years of job-related experience is required.
