The Surgical Tech Student performs surgical and central sterile technology duties under the direction of the OR Manager and/or Circulating Nurse. Responsibilities include preparing operating rooms, sterilizing and inventorying equipment, preparing patients, passing instruments and sterile supplies, conducting pre- and postoperative counts, and maintaining a sterile environment throughout procedures.
