Description
The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures under the Director of Nursing, prepares and maintains supplies, instruments, and equipment, and supports the Surgery Center’s quality improvement activities. The role requires a high school education or equivalent, completion of an appropriate surgical technician program or at least two years of prior surgical technician experience, certification, CPR certification within the probationary period, and the ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing or pulling patients or equipment up to 100 pounds.
