Description
The Surgical Technician prepares and maintains operating rooms and sterile fields, assists surgeons by handling instruments and supplies, performs counts and patient positioning, and cleans, reprocesses, and sterilizes equipment. The role requires surgical technology or practical nursing education, 0–2 years of operating room surgical technician experience, and Basic Life Support certification; Certified Surgical Technologist certification is preferred.
