Description
The Surgical Technologist prepares sterile fields, sets up instruments, assists surgeons with gowning and gloving, drapes patients, passes instruments and supplies, holds retractors, and supports equipment maintenance and testing during surgical operations. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, surgical technology education or military training, BLS certification, and Surgical Technician Certification; one year of recent relevant experience is listed. It is a full-time, regular, non-exempt position with day and evening shifts, Monday through Friday, as needed weekends, and a pay range of $44.73 to $62.62 per hour.
