UW Medical Center–Northwest is hiring a full-time Surgical Technologist for its Seattle operating rooms. The role prepares and maintains operating rooms, assembles instruments and supplies, performs the scrub role, supports sterile patient care and safety, collaborates with scheduling teams and surgeons, and handles post-operative instrument removal, decontamination, sterilization, and room turnover. Applicants must complete a Surgical Technologist program and have one year of operating-room experience assisting with varied operative procedures; certification as a scrub technologist and six months of operating-room technician experience are also identified as competitive qualifications. The position is a regular day-shift role offering $34.77–$50.58 per hour, with possible certification, night, evening, and weekend premiums.
