Description
St. Tammany Health System is hiring a Surgical Technologist/LPN to serve as a scrub person on the surgical team. The role prepares and handles surgical instruments, supplies, and devices, supports invasive and surgical procedures under RN supervision, and maintains patient safety and sterile technique according to AORN and professional standards. The position works three 12-hour weekday shifts, requires weekday, weekend, and holiday call, and requires availability in-house within 30 minutes when on call. It is based in Covington, Louisiana, with one year of experience preferred, acute-care operating room experience preferred, current BLS certification required, and surgical technology certification preferred.
