Description
The Field Surveyor provides technical support to a Professional Land Surveyor, researches survey records, performs field surveys, operates survey equipment, records and verifies measurements, and coordinates results with survey, engineering, client, and other project personnel. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, strong mathematical and computer skills, and the ability to work outdoors in changing weather, travel extensively, and perform physically demanding work. The schedule is normally Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work, frequent 10- to 12-hour days, and frequent overnight travel.
