Description
The Survey Party Chief leads a field survey crew and manages the organization, efficiency, accuracy, safety, and completion of construction, right-of-way, control, topographic, and related survey work. The role coordinates with officials, engineers, contractors, utility companies, and supervisors; selects surveying techniques; gathers GPS and other survey data; analyzes plans and legal documents; defines property and right-of-way boundaries; prepares reports and maps; and supervises crew performance. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years of surveying experience or training, and a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
