Description
The Survey Specialist will develop and test surveying equipment and software, adjust and process field survey data, coordinate GPS data collection, communicate with field crews and external stakeholders, verify finished maps, research projects, occasionally gather survey data, and train field crews. The role requires an Alabama Professional Land Surveyor’s License or ability to obtain one, extensive survey calculation knowledge, and strong surveying, GPS, CAD, data-processing, communication, and problem-solving skills. It is located in Birmingham, with relocation benefits not available.
