HDR is hiring an entry-level Survey Technician I in its Kansas City, Missouri office. The role supports a survey crew by performing outdoor boundary, topographic, ALTA, right-of-way, design, and construction surveys; assisting the party chief with field layout and measurement; maintaining surveying equipment, vehicles, and records; preparing reports; and performing basic survey computations and CAD-related tasks. The position requires an associate degree in a related field or equivalent education and relevant experience, AutoCAD experience, a valid driver’s license, willingness to travel, and the ability to learn and use surveying instruments, software, mathematics, and land-surveying methods.
