Description
The role leads survey crews and prepares site data for surveyors, prepares GPS files for automated equipment, coordinates as-built work, and performs layout and as-built surveys for roadway construction elements such as walls, drainages, bridges, earthworks, ITS, FSS, and TCPs. The position also maintains control of field and office surveying activities, verifies equipment monthly, maintains equipment and vehicles, and attends safety meetings. It requires at least seven years of relevant surveying construction experience on heavy roadway projects, CAD and Excel proficiency, physical ability to lift 25–50 pounds, flexibility for overtime and varying hours, teamwork, outdoor work, pressure management, and a clean Florida driver’s license.
