Description
The Specialty Sushi Chef prepares and presents sushi, cooks rice, rolls sushi, records temperatures, and supports the sushi chef, raw bar, and other kitchen staff. The role also handles guest relations, resolves complaints, maintains menu and presentation knowledge, follows sanitation and safety procedures, and keeps work areas clean and organized. Candidates need at least three months of experience in a specialty sushi chef or similar position, Japanese seafood and knife skills, English proficiency, and the ability to work 6–8-hour shifts while lifting up to 60 pounds.
