Acron Aviation is hiring a Sustaining Engineer Intern for its Recorders Engineering Team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The intern will support the lifecycle management of existing aerospace and aviation products by updating mechanical drawings, CAD models, documentation, bills of material, specifications, and released production drawings; supporting housings, enclosures, structural assemblies, and vacuum-jacketed designs; researching historical design decisions; and improving documentation, design traceability, and cross-functional collaboration. The role requires an ongoing bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, onsite work during the internship, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; CAD, GD&T, enclosure design, thermal management, and engineering documentation experience are preferred.
