Description
The Sustaining Engineering Supervisor leads sustaining engineering activities for Vertiv’s busbar division, including technical issue prioritization, design updates, root-cause investigations, engineering changes, manufacturing design support, and new-product-introduction activities. The role also coaches and develops a small engineering team, collaborates with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations, and helps recruit and onboard talent. It requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, strong 3D modeling and 2D drafting skills, manufacturing-process knowledge, and experience with design for manufacturability, root cause analysis, engineering changes, and product lifecycle management.
