Description
The Sustaining Mechanical Engineer will own the technical health, reliability, and lifecycle performance of released GEFCO drilling products, resolving field, customer, and manufacturing issues and translating them into design, process, or documentation improvements. The role combines structural and mechanical design, 3D modeling, testing, change management, configuration control, reliability analysis, and cross-functional leadership with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Field Service. It requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least five years of relevant mechanical design or sustaining engineering experience, proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD, and the ability to travel to manufacturing, customer, and field locations.
