Verifone is hiring an Android Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain on-device and off-device Android applications for payment devices and solutions. The role includes building product demos and integrations, collaborating with product and engineering teams, optimizing performance, debugging production defects, supporting test automation and CI/CD, and contributing technical documentation. Candidates need strong Android development experience, Java or Kotlin proficiency, knowledge of Android architecture and performance optimization, RESTful API and database experience, and at least six years of Android or embedded/mobile software development experience.
