Carrier is hiring a Sustaining Test Engineer to provide first-level troubleshooting and direct shop-floor support for production test systems, vision systems, programming equipment, and escalated technical issues. The role focuses on diagnosing hardware and software failures, repairing and improving test fixtures, analyzing failure data, optimizing test programs, and partnering with Contract Manufacturing teams to resolve production issues. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field, 2 to 5 years of electronics or high-volume manufacturing experience, and knowledge of functional test platforms, in-circuit test systems, data I/O programming, and electronic schematics.
