Apple is hiring a Storage Validation Engineer to develop automation tools, testing infrastructure, and validation tests for storage subsystems. The role involves building version-controlled software packages, lab automation and debug tools, test flows for storage modules and performance validation, and collaborating across teams while using AI tools and Unix-based environments. A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering, Python or similar proficiency, strong failure analysis and debugging skills, and familiarity with AI-integrated testing and automation are required; object-oriented programming, testing-tool development, and database experience are preferred.
