HARMAN is hiring a Software Project Engineer for its Connectivity team to lead embedded software development and integration for telematics solutions. The role serves as a technical lead and customer-facing representative, translating requirements, managing the V-Model software development lifecycle, coordinating global teams, and preparing for a future Functional Owner role. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, at least three years of embedded C/C++ development and global team leadership experience, knowledge of inter-process communication and embedded operating systems, and fluency in Japanese and business-level English. The position requires up to 30% domestic or domestic and international travel and is marked hybrid.
