Description
The Software QA Engineer will design and implement test strategies and automation frameworks for optical networking equipment and protocols, including OTN, Ethernet, DWDM, NBI interfaces, and system security. The role covers manual and automated testing, test planning, protocol-based testing, continuous integration, operating-system evaluation, and product qualification across Long Haul, DCI, and Metro optical systems. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or higher in ECE, Computer Science, or EEE, at least three years of embedded optical network element system testing experience, Python or similar programming skills, and hands-on experience with NBI interfaces.
