Description
eBay is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to build and operate scalable backend and machine learning systems for its Ads teams. The role covers sponsored search, ranking, retrieval, personalization, MLOps, data pipelines, model training and serving, and the operationalization of Generative AI technologies. The engineer will collaborate with Applied Researchers, Product Managers, and Engineering teams to turn research prototypes into production systems and will work across Ads Recommendations, Ads Search, and Ads Guidance. The position requires a BS in Computer Science or a related field, at least four years of relevant experience, and expertise in software development, distributed systems, big data, machine learning frameworks, CI/CD, containerization, cloud services, and APIs.
