The SWE Infrastructure Specialist will evaluate large-scale language models on realistic infrastructure and platform scenarios, using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python to verify architectural soundness, code quality, testing strategies, performance, deployment risks, and reliability across distributed systems. The role involves identifying failure cases, improving prompt design and evaluation metrics, and contributing to training data for AI systems. It is a remote freelance contract with pay of $80–$150 per hour, requires a relevant technical degree and experience in cloud, infrastructure, platform, DevOps, performance analysis, or QA, and does not include company-sponsored health insurance or paid time off.
