Description
The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is hiring a Swim Coach to support progressive and competitive swimming programs under the direction of the Aquatic Director and Head Coach. The role involves leading practices, developing swimmers’ skills, supervising swim meets and dives, enforcing pool and YMCA safety standards, evaluating performance, maintaining equipment, and incorporating YMCA character-development values. Candidates must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of directly related program experience, hold current aquatic instruction or lifeguard/first aid/CPR/AED certifications, be able to work nights and weekends, use meet-management software, and travel between branches.
