Description
The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is hiring a Swim Coach to support progressive and competitive swimming programs under the direction of the Aquatic Director and Head Coach. The role leads practices, develops swimmers’ stroke skills, supervises swim meets, ensures participant safety and pool cleanliness, evaluates performance, incorporates YMCA character values, maintains equipment, and provides excellent member service. Applicants must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent plus two years of directly related program experience, hold current swim instruction or lifeguard/first aid/CPR/AED instructor certifications, be available for nights and weekends, use meet-management software, and travel between branches.
