Description
The Aquatics Swim Instructor teaches swimming lessons and aquatics events to adults and children, evaluates swimmers, responds to member questions, and maintains a safe and organized pool area. The role also promotes aquatics programs and services. Candidates should be working toward a high school diploma or GED, obtain CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications within 60 days of hire, complete Life Time courses, swim 25 yards or meters without stopping, and routinely lift more than 20 pounds. Swim lesson instruction or coaching experience is preferred.
