Description
The Lake Superior YMCA is hiring a part-time Swim Instructor to lead and motivate students in swimming classes, prepare lesson plans, supervise class aides, maintain records, follow safety procedures, and manage pool equipment. The role requires a minimum age of 16, CPR/AED and lifeguarding or first-aid certification, swim-instructor skills, and the ability to perform water rescue and other physically demanding pool duties. YMCA Swim Instructor certification or equivalent is preferred, with the option to obtain certification within six months.
