Description
The Lake Superior YMCA is hiring a part-time Swim Instructor to lead and motivate students in swimming classes, prepare lesson plans, supervise class aides, build relationships with students and parents, maintain records, follow safety procedures, and manage pool equipment. The role requires swimming-instructor skills, CPR/AED and lifeguarding or first-aid certification, and YMCA Swim Instructor v6 certification within six months of hire. It is a non-exempt, part-time position operating in and around a pool, with no supervisory responsibility and no travel required.
