Description
The YMCA is seeking a Swim Instructor to provide direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for students in swimming classes. The role involves preparing and delivering lessons according to YMCA guidelines, building relationships with students and parents, maintaining attendance and progress records, following aquatic safety procedures, organizing equipment, and training class aides. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and hold YMCA Swim Instructor, ASHI Basic Life Support/CPR Pro, Basic First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen certifications, along with the ability to demonstrate swim instructor skills to YMCA standards.
