Description
The Swim Instructor conducts swim lessons for children from eight months through adults, maintains participant safety in and around the water, creates lesson plans, completes records, and supports the department’s diversity and inclusion goals. The role requires American Red Cross lifeguarding and water-safety-instructor certification or the ability to obtain them, strong swimming and emergency-response ability, and the capacity to work variable schedules in indoor and outdoor aquatic facilities.
